As the Head of Maritime Transportation Division, you will oversee the operational and strategic planning of maritime transportation services, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficiency for both domestic and international trade. This role is crucial in maintaining the port’s reputation as a key hub in the region, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of maritime transportation services, including vessel scheduling, cargo handling, and port operations.
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures to enhance port efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate with government agencies, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth maritime operations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to port throughput, vessel turnaround time, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with international maritime regulations and national port authority guidelines.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the maritime transportation division.
- Manage a team of professionals, providing leadership and mentorship to drive operational excellence.
- Represent the port authority in industry forums and conferences to promote its services and initiatives.
🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat
- Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in maritime transportation, port operations, or a similar senior role.
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performance teams.
- Strong understanding of international maritime laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Certification in Port Management or a related field is a plus.
- Experience with maritime software and systems, such as Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS) and Port Community System (PCS).
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategic initiatives and achieve operational goals.
